Our Ferts
Rascal; in his raccoon mask
Never set upon one task
Stealing sweets and cheese and cake
If you're not quick it's his to take
Hammie; my sweet small old man
Lying board, limp in my hand
Skulking for my things to hide
Eyes unfalter, dignified.
'Tana; holding down her ground
A little queen, shy of a pound
Remind the boys to keep their place
A model of the ferret's grace
Tator; bouncing down the hall
I see him and his tires stall
Teddy Face and muddy nose
Tongue out, sprawled within my clothes
Bandit; lying cold and still
Left us here against his will
Moving: wiggle, stomp, and romp
Rest in peace, lick lick chomp

Friendship And Family Poems
Goodbye Poems
Didn't Want To Say Goodbye
I didn't want to say goodbye
Instead I wanted to say hi
I can't believe its true
I've been so blue
I don't know what to do
You was the closest thing i had to family, then you up and left me
Others can't see
You are my best friend
How am I going to mend
a missing part of my heart
I don't know where to start
We did everything together....
we laughed,
we cried,
we got in trouble,
we did everything
She will never be replace
our memories will never be erased
I miss her dearly
I didn't take it calmly
I didn't want to say goodbye
Instead I wanted to say hi

Goodbye Poems
First Non-birthday
Gone again, another light faded
Into the bleak background energy
Of the universe, material disolution
Done, interred in memories alone.
Still we sense you, sometimes
Here in the corner, moving things,
Letting us know you'll be awhile
Before the transition is complete.
Take your time, we're happy
That you want to hang around
Even just a bit longer; leave a note,
Let us know what you want from us.
If it's in our power, you know
We'll all chip in and get it or do it;
Anything to make it easier for you;
Just don't think we'll forget you.

Friendship And Family Poems
Goodbye Poem
Best Friend
Best friend,
will you really be there for me in the end,
best friend,
how can we fight without even saying anything at all,
best friend,
what happened to my best friend,
best friend,
why does it feel like our friendship is going to end,
best friend,
what is going to happen in the end?
